Red Cross supports Saskatchewan businesses impacted by wildfires
Businesses and nonprofits affected by the wildfires that ripped through Saskatchewan over the summer could be eligible for $2,000 in financial support through a new program by the Canadian Red Cross.The program, which is funded through a $15 million commitment from the Government of Saskatchewan, offers the funds to businesses and not-for-profit organizations located in communities that were forced to evacuate for a week or more during the wildfires.
