FlexNetworks Doubles Capacity to Power Cloud and Content Growth

FlexNetworks, a Canadian-owned fibre provider, has announced a major enhancement to its network infrastructure: the doubling of its capacity into MICE (Midwest Internet Cooperative Exchange), a top-tier North American internet exchange point (IXP).This move positions FlexNetworks at the forefront of connectivity for both commercial and residential users alike, by delivering one of the most direct, high-capacity paths to cloud and content providers in the country.

One of largest deposits in the world sits in the Northeast

Canadian Energy Metals (CEM) has discovered a resource of roughly 50 billion tonnes, containing alumina, scandium and vanadium in the Tisdale area.The deposit is very large and appears to be amongst the largest deposits of aluminum in the world. A proposed demonstration plant is being discussed.

Municipalities that prepare for AI reap greater benefits

A new report offers tips on how local leaders can enable the adoption of artificial intelligence by supporting local workforce and economic development. The report, released by the National Academy of Public Administration and commissioned by Google, offers a framework for municipal leaders to consider when looking for opportunities to introduce or expand the use of AI in their communities.
