GROW YOUR BUSINESS ONLINE - GRANTS FOR SMALL BUSINESS

Today the Government of Canada announced a new national program to enable small businesses to grow via expanding online strategy and utility. SEDA is pleased to lead the Saskatchewan delivery team alongside Sask Polytech, Digital Main Street & Economic Development Regina.

We are currently readying the Saskatchewan application process. Eligible businesses can submit their contact information here and will be notified when the formal application process is open. 

Business Eligibility:

  • registered or incorporated for-profit business (including for-profit social enterprises and cooperatives);·
  • consumer-facing business(virtual or storefront)
  • businesses with a minimum of one employee(full or part-time)

Eligible Micro-Grant Costs include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Costs related to implementation or improvement of a digital e-commerce plan (i.e. website development, electronic payment)
  • Costs related to website search optimization
  • Costs related to the installation of an e-commerce platform (incl. subscription fees)
  • Costs of back-office solutions to support e-commerce strategy
  • Costs of social media advertising
  • Costs related to the creation of customer databases

Eligible businesses will receive the support of e-commerce advisors to develop and implement a digital transformation strategy.
