Apply by April 14 Richardson Community Pioneer Celebration Grant

The Richardson Pioneer Rider Nation Community Celebration is a one-day party that six (6) communities from across Saskatchewan will experience this year featuring the Grey Cup trophy, personnel from the Saskatchewan Roughriders including prominent alumni and members of the Game Day Entertainment teams such as the 620 CKRM Rider Cheer Team, Gainer the Gopher and much more along to celebrate and congratulate your community.

Each winning community receives a $25,000 donation from Richardson Pioneer toward a specific, community project having a focus on sport, culture and recreation.  A community is defined as a rural municipality, village, town, small city or a First Nation within Saskatchewan. APPLY HERE

 

 

Certification Exam September 26 in Saskatoon

Professionals and leaders engaged in community and economic development for at least two years may be eligible to sit the PCED.SK Certification Exam in September.  Download the Certification Handbook and contact the SEDA office to discuss further.

We were saddened to learn of the recent passing of colleague and long-time SEDA volunteer and board member John Parker. Former General Manager of Community Futures Southwest based in Swift Current, John was a strong advocate of economic development and always available to provide support to fellow professionals and community leaders. He impacted many during his career in multiple provinces and territories.
