A COVID-19 Impact Survey is embedded within this newsletter to share with Saskatchewan businesses and organizations. Requests for follow-up information will be referred back to the closest economic or business development professional. Our primary goal is to identify immediate and emerging business/organization needs and trends, in order to ensure all of our economic development partners and key stakeholders are able to provide the best response possible. What you can do locally to support local businesses 

1. Be there for them. Put yourself in their shoes and be aware of current and future impacts on their business and families.
2. Ask them where they are hurting right now. Ascertain what they will need next week, next month and in six months from now.  An online Impact Survey has been created for you to share with local and regional businesses. Respondents leaving their email addresses for follow-up will be referred back to the closest economic/business development professional.
3. Set up virtual supports. Establish online hangouts/discussion groups for businesses to share issues and network for solutions. 
4. Create an online event.  Walk retailers through setting up and promoting an online presence. 
5. Provide financial relief. Encourage your municipality to waive licensing, taxes and utility payments.
