Bengough is located 145km southwest of Regina or 145km southeast of Moose Jaw and is known as the “Gateway to the Big Muddy” Valley. Bengough is agricultural and ranch based, rich with hard-working dedicated people who are always eager to volunteer a helping hand. The stability of the community is evidenced by the many Century Farms scattered throughout the area.
With its low crime stats, clean air, and a strong sense of generosity, Bengough is an excellent place to raise a family, start a business or retire. It offers K-12 schooling, daycare, places of worship, health care with a resident Nurse Practitioner, and a variety of businesses/services.
Bengough offers a broad spectrum of recreational facilities for all seasons including the Bengough and District Regional Park in summer and curling and skating rinks in winter. The Gateway Festival, a music-filled family event, swells Bengough population with spectators coming from far and wide. The festival attracts performers from Saskatchewan, Canada, and internationally. It runs the 4th weekend of July each summer. Come and experience small-town welcome at its best!
