The Canadian Worker Co-operative Federation (CWCF) is a national membership organization of and for worker cooperatives, related types of cooperatives, and organizations that support the growth and development of worker cooperatives. The purpose of the Worker Co-op Fund, Tenacity Works, is to create new and to expand existing worker-owned cooperatives in all regions of Canada. The Fund makes loans to allow worker cooperatives to leverage the loan to obtain additional financing from traditional lenders. Supported enterprises must be viable market-driven enterprises that can contribute to creating a sustainable local economy and can provide member-workers with the level of income required to enable their long-term commitment to growing and developing the enterprise. CWCF also administers other programs to support worker cooperatives
