The Cabot Corporate Giving and the Cabot Corporation Foundation support nonprofit organizations in communities where Cabot operates facilities in North America , Europe , Asia Pacific, and South America .
The Foundation seeks to advance science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) education, including in K-12 and higher education. Grants are also provided to support educators in these fields .
In addition , the Foundation also supports community and civic improvement efforts . Types of support include:
- general support;
- project support;
- matching and challenge grants; and,
- product and in-kind
The company does not make grants to:
- individuals;
- fraternal, political, athletic, or veterans organ
- religious institutions;
- advertising sponsorships;
- tickets or tables at fundraising events;
- sponsorships of local groups or individuals to participate in regional, national, or international competitions, conferences, or events; or,
- capital or endowment campaigns.
