The Saskatchewan Accredited Economic Development Organization(SAEDO) Program provides a framework for building a sustainable community and economic development organization and a vibrant community.

Four building blocks are inherent to the program:

1. Leadership
2. Economic Vitality
3. Placemaking
4. Promotion

Standards of achievement are set within each of these four areas. A community may apply to be certified by a Peer Review Committee after successfully reaching these benchmarks.
