Prairie Perspectives​

At SEDA, we know that the future of Saskatchewan is being shaped not only in boardrooms and government offices, but in communities, businesses, farms, First Nations, Métis communities, main streets, volunteer organizations, and kitchen tables across the province. That is why we are pleased to introduce Prairie Perspectives, a new storytelling series written by Saskatchewan author and rural observer Dan Matthews.

Prairie Perspectives will explore the ideas, people, partnerships, and initiatives that are helping rural Saskatchewan thrive. Through thoughtful conversations and storytelling, Dan will shine a light on the innovators, entrepreneurs, volunteers, community builders, and local leaders who are creating positive change in their communities and regions.

Some stories will focus on individuals. Others will explore community-led projects, economic development initiatives, regional collaborations, rural businesses, Indigenous leadership, and emerging opportunities that offer lessons and inspiration for communities across Saskatchewan.

In a world that often focuses on challenges, Prairie Perspectives is about \ possibility. It is about recognizing the people who step forward to make a difference, the communities that embrace new opportunities, and the partnerships that demonstrate what can be achieved when people work together.
