ICED Rural 2025 – Canada’s Premier Rural Innovation Conference

September 23–24, 2025 | Estevan, Saskatchewan | Affinity Place

Now in its third year, ICED Rural has quickly become Canada’s leading conference dedicated solely to rural innovation. This year’s theme zeroes in on two of the most critical challenges and opportunities facing rural innovation: Energy and Education.
After two sold-out events, we’re expanding to Affinity Place in Estevan to welcome 300–500 leaders, innovators, and changemakers from across Canada and beyond—including rural entrepreneurs, policymakers, educators, and industry stakeholders.

After three consecutive years hosting the Indigenous Tech and Innovation Forum the Saskatchewan Indigenous Economic Development Network is partnering with the Southeast Tech Hub for year four. The focus of ICED 2025 aligns with SIEDN’s mission to provide a platform for Indigenous stakeholders to discuss education, employment, and investment opportunities in Saskatchewan’s Innovation ecosystem. Most Indigenous communities are rural communities and together we can collectively work to address the unique challenges that living in rural communities presents with connection, energy, and innovative thinking.
